Progression Pathways

The Progression Pathways is one Pathway being piloted within the Foundation Learning Tier (FLT). The outcome is accreditation and full qualifications in the below programme content.
Vocational – Tasters and Skills Builders.
Personal Social Development – Working with Others, Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.
Functional Skills – ICT, Application of Number and Communication.

The programme will also have:
• Monthly review with SMART Targets
• C.V Preparation
• Letter Writing
• Interview Skills
• Work Experience – in-house or in company
• Training Plans and Timescales

The model used as a programmed is based on the existing e2e model; but with the significant difference of qualification accreditation being part of the outcome. The programme is also a framework similar to an apprenticeship model.

After the pilot has been evaluated, the Progression Pathway is to replace the e2e programme. Other programmes are being development with FLT to give other Pathways for learners not eligible for the Pre-Apprenticeship Progression Pathway.
